Celebrating Our People at the Mai-Wel Annual Awards Night

Mai-Wel recently hosted our Annual Awards Night, an evening dedicated to recognising the achievements, dedication, and impact of our people across the organisation.

The event brought together staff, leadership, partners, and supporters to celebrate exceptional effort, strong leadership, and the everyday commitment that supports people with disability to achieve their goals. It was a powerful reminder of the passion and professionalism that drives our work across the Hunter and beyond.

In his address, CEO John Cleary shared his sincere appreciation for all Mai-Wel employees who work tirelessly to deliver “Full of Possible” for participants. Their dedication remains the foundation of our success and the positive impact we create in our community.

We extend our sincere thanks to Mai-Wel Ambassador Rae Anderson for joining us on the night, to Dylan for MC’ing the event with professionalism and warmth, and to our Board Members Felicity Laczina, Sherphard Chidarikire, and Carolyn Higgs for their continued support and leadership.
