ABOUT MAI-WEL’S SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAMS
Mai-Wel’s Social, Community and Creative Pathways (SCCP) School Holiday Programs offer high-school aged young people a chance to get out, try new things, and have fun in a safe and supportive environment.
Designed for young people in Years 7 to 12, these action-packed programs are all about fun, friendship and discovery. Whether you’re looking to make new friends, try something different or build new skills, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
With access to sensory spaces, grassed areas to run, play and burn off energy, as well as fantastic facilities, exciting outings and creative activities, every day brings a new adventure. We support participants to explore new interests and create lasting memories during the school holidays, with Mai-Wel’s experienced team providing tailored support every step of the way.

PROGRAM DATES
We are currently taking expressions of interest for our next round of school holiday programs for September/October School Holidays 2026.
Week 1: Monday 28 September, Wednesday 30 September, Friday 2 October
Week 2: Wednesday 7 October, Thursday 8 October, Friday 9 October
Expressions of interest close two weeks before the first program day. Places are limited, so we encourage those interested to register early.
ELIGIBILITY AND COSTS
Mai-Wel’s School Holiday Programs are open to young people in Years 7 to 12 in the Hunter region.
Programs are available to new and existing participants across NDIS, as well as self-funded/fee-for-service participants.
A program guide will be available with information on specific activities, programs, costs and fees during the enquiry phase.

Mai-Wel’s Social, Community and Creative Pathways (SCCP) programs support people with disability to connect, explore, and grow through meaningful activities in the community and our purpose-built spaces. Delivered across the Hunter region, SCCP supports are tailored to each person’s goals and interests, with a focus on building confidence, independence, and lasting community connections.
The School Holiday Programs are delivered by Mai-Wel’s SCCP team and reflect our commitment to providing flexible, high-quality supports that make a real difference for young people and their families.
