There are few ways to gather a crowd faster than putting our CEO John Cleary behind the BBQ, delivering plenty of fun.

Held at Mai-Wel’s Telarah facility, the event brought participants and staff together from across sites for a State of Origin themed lunch packed with good food, laughs and conversation.

With blue and maroon adding to the atmosphere, the day created an easy excuse for people from different locations to catch up, share lunch and enjoy time together outside their usual routine.

A scavenger hunt that got everyone involved

One of the highlights of the day was a playful scavenger hunt, with hidden pictures of John in each team’s jersey scattered around the site for participants to find.

It quickly became a crowd favourite, adding a bit of extra competition and a lot of laughter to the celebrations. From the BBQ to the hunt, the whole event had a relaxed and welcoming feel that encouraged everyone to join in.
