Celebrating Christmas Together Right Across Mai-Wel
The 2025 holiday season saw our Christmas celebrations share joy, connection, and a sense of belonging. From festive outings to shared meals and music-filled gatherings, each event offered opportunities to relax, connect with others, and enjoy the season in ways that felt meaningful and inclusive.
Christmas Disco Night celebrations
Our Christmas Disco Night brought energy, music, and plenty of smiles. Participants enjoyed dancing, tapping along to their favourite songs, and spending time together in a relaxed social setting.
The photo booth was a highlight, with lots of laughter as everyone posed with props and captured memories of the night.
Food, music, and shared enjoyment made this event a fantastic opportunity for social connection and community participation, with everyone happy, comfortable, and engaged throughout the evening.
Wattle House Christmas Dinner
Wattle House participants came together to celebrate an early Christmas dinner filled with festive cheer. Everyone enjoyed a lovely meal before opening their Christmas gifts, sharing excitement and warm moments together.
It was a thoughtful way to celebrate the season before participants headed off to spend Christmas with their families, reinforcing the importance of connection and togetherness.
Lily House Christmas Dinner
Participants and guests from nine residences gathered for a joyful Christmas lunch celebration at Lily House. The lunch had beautifully decorated with festive table settings both indoors and outdoors.
The afternoon was filled with conversation, laughter, music, and dancing. Special guests Ms Claus and a much-loved Elf delighted everyone by handing out gifts, which were warmly received. The event created a welcoming space where everyone could relax and enjoy the festivities together.
Lotus House Christmas Dinner
Lotus House participants also enjoyed an early Christmas dinner before heading off to celebrate the holidays with their families.
The evening was filled with shared food, smiles, and the excitement of opening gifts together. These moments highlighted how important it is to pause, reflect, and celebrate milestones as a community.
The Christmas Lights Spectacular
Participants enjoyed a wonderful evening at the Hunter Valley Gardens’ Christmas Light Spectacular, making the most of the warm weather while exploring the gardens and vibrant new light displays.
The group took their time wandering through the displays, soaking up the atmosphere and sharing plenty of laughs along the way. It was a fun and memorable experience that captured the magic of the festive season.
