Chris is one of our superstars on our Grounds and Facilities Maintenance team, heading out to our customer locations to help keep their spaces looking fabulous.
Chris loves his role because, as he says, “I find it easy to complete my tasks and I go off site to do different jobs and there is a lot of variety.” Imagine having a job where every day is a new adventure, filled with different tasks and locations to explore!
Recently, Chris hit a major milestone by completing a TAFE Cleaning Operations Skill Set, which landed him the job with the Mai-Wel Grounds and Facilities Maintenance crew. This achievement is a shining example of his dedication and hard work.
One of the coolest things Chris has mastered in his new role is understanding his rotating roster. He can manage his schedule, which has different starting and finishing times that rotate week to week. Juggling a changing schedule like a pro!
If Chris could have a superpower for a day, he would choose to be ‘Ice Man’. He explains, “because I would be able to keep cool whilst working outside and keep my food cool as well!” Now that’s a well-thought-out power!
