Be Active Group’s Adventure at Stockton Breakwall

On Thursday, 3rd October 2024, Mai-Wel’s ‘Be Active’ group set out on a fun-filled adventure to Stockton Breakwall and beach. The group, supported by staff members Karina, Neil, and Celine, enjoyed a leisurely walk along the breakwall, soaking in the scenic views while engaging in physical activity to boost their mobility and flexibility.

After working up an appetite, the participants – Benjamin, Nicholas, Thomas, Ian, and Adam – treated themselves to some tasty chips and scallops from the local takeaway. The highlight of the day? Creating and enjoying chip sandwiches together, a fun and delicious way to wrap up their adventure!

The ‘Be Active’ group meets every Thursday from 9 am to 3 pm and participates in various physical activities to enhance their fitness and well-being. This day at Stockton was just the beginning of their exciting schedule for the current block, with future activities including Aqua Golf, Swimming, Tenpin Bowling, and BBQ lunches at their local park following a personal training session.

All participants agreed it was a fantastic day, with everyone loving the chance to explore a new location and try something different. We can’t wait to see what they achieve next!
