Supported Employee Spotlight – Jack
Mai-Wel Enterprises is proud to shine a spotlight on Jack, one of our dedicated supported employees who has been with us since 2018. Jack is a hands-on worker who thrives on practical tasks and enjoys learning new skills through the varied projects at Mai-Wel.
Over the years, Jack has taken advantage of the diverse opportunities available to him, working not only on-site but also in external business environments such as Gemco Rail and Maitland Waste Facility. His ability to adapt and take on new challenges has earned him the respect of his peers, and he now often plays a leadership role in small teams, helping new employees settle into their roles.
“I like working with my hands and completing practical tasks,” Jack said. “I also enjoy the chance to work in other business environments. It helps me learn new skills and try new things.”
One of Jack’s proudest moments came at the end of 2023 when he was recognised for five years of service during a formal ceremony. This event celebrated Jack’s commitment to his work and the many achievements of Mai-Wel’s employees.
Reflecting on his time at Mai-Wel Enterprises, Jack shared, “I’m always supported to learn new skills and achieve my goals. I like the variety of tasks and the opportunity to try new things. Mai-Wel Enterprises is a co-operative business to deal with, and we always deliver good service on time.”
Jack’s journey at Mai-Wel Enterprises is a testament to the power of hard work, dedication, and a supportive environment. We are proud to celebrate Jack’s achievements and look forward to his continued success with us.
