Celebrating Mikala and Jessica’s Journey at voco Kirkton Park!

Mikala and Jessica embarked on their housekeeping journey at voco Kirkton Park in September 2023. Since then, they have honed their skills in a variety of tasks, from cleaning public areas to performing thorough room cleans after guests depart.

They have mastered valuable skills such as making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, and ensuring rooms are perfect for the next guest. These skills have not only been beneficial at work but have also proven useful in their everyday lives!

Mikala’s Highlights: “The best thing about working here is getting to talk to all the other workers and making jokes. I also enjoy vacuuming the rooms, and now I do that at home as well. Plus, I love seeing Maggie the magpie that lives at work.”

Jessica’s Highlights: “The best part of the job is making the beds. I also love working with Mikala as a team to make the beds together.”
