Sharon’s Impact: Volunteering with a Smile
For four years, Sharon has been a dedicated volunteer at St Joseph’s College in Lochinvar, bringing joy and enthusiasm to the canteen every Thursday. Her weekly routine is a testament to her commitment, positivity, and strong sense of community.
Sharon starts her day by greeting the reception staff before heading to the canteen, where she works alongside Margaret. Together, they prepare lunch orders, wrap food, stock shelves, and serve students and staff during break times. The laughter and camaraderie they share create a welcoming environment for everyone.
At 11:10 am, when the bell signals the first break, Sharon helps manage the busy rush, taking over the EFT machine and ensuring everything runs smoothly. Once the break is over, she assists with cleanup and counting tills, completing her day with the same positivity she started with.
Sharon is a well-known and loved face at the school, bringing a smile to everyone she meets. Her contribution to the school community is invaluable, and we’re so proud to celebrate her dedication.
Thank you, Sharon, for your incredible commitment and the joy you bring to your role!
