Support Coordination

From 17th May 2024, Mai-Wel will no longer be providing Support Coordination Services.

Information sessions have been conducted for affected participants and their advocates. If you are a Mai-Wel participant and were unable to attend an information session, or would like to further discuss the changes, please contact us on start@maiwel.com.au or 4057 2990.

Mai-Wel is happy to provide you with any information you require for your new Support Coordinator. Please contact us on start@maiwel.com.au and we will forward you a consent form for completion. On receipt of the completed consent form we will be happy to forward your information to you.

Please contact your current Support Coordinator to discuss your needs.

28 days is the required time frame as outlined in Mai-Wel Service Agreements. We are also aware that other local providers may be taking similar actions with respect to following the Disability Royal Commission recommendation 10.2 regarding Independent Support Coordination. In a proactive step, Mai-Wel have chosen to be early adopters of this recommendation and we want to give participants the opportunity to find a new Support Coordinator before the further expected changes with Support coordination in the market.
