Staff Spotlight: Jacqueline – Support Worker at SCCP
At Mai-Wel’s Social, Community, and Creative Pathways (SCCP), we’re proud to celebrate the incredible team members who make a difference every day. Meet Jacqueline, a dedicated support worker who has been part of the Mai-Wel team for 18 months.
Jacqueline works across several programs, including Dancing, Ladies Group, Confidence in the Kitchen, Sing for All, and Let’s Make Music. Her passion for helping participants achieve their goals and enjoy meaningful experiences shines through in everything she does.
A standout moment for Jacqueline this year was supporting two participants from the Let’s Make Music program to perform at Live and Loud. “Reflecting on their incredible achievement still brings tears to my eyes,” she says. “Watching our participants grow in confidence, gain independence, and light up with joy makes every moment of my job so rewarding.”
Jacqueline credits her amazing colleagues for her personal growth, saying, “Their support and guidance have helped me improve my skills as a support worker, making this journey even more fulfilling.”
