2025 Youth Artwork Competition

Are you 18–25 and bursting with creativity? Here’s your chance to make your mark!

We’re looking for young artists to showcase their talent, with the opportunity to see your artwork transformed into something unforgettable.

Three winning artists will have their work turned into large-scale murals at a Mai-Wel office. Runner-up artworks will be proudly displayed on canvas in shared community spaces. All artists will be credited for their work.

Whether you paint, sketch, design digitally, or mix it all together, this is your moment to share your vision with the community.

We’re looking for:

  • Youth focused, uplifting, community-minded, and inclusive themes
  • Positive themes that reflect Mai-Wel’s values, vision, and branding
  • The artwork can be in any format or style
  • No obscenity or offensive, inappropriate imagery
  • Must be suitable for a large-scale wall mural at Mai-Wel

Terms & Conditions

Mai-Wel retains the rights to all submitted artworks and may use them as we see fit, this may include for marketing, promotional, print, and digital purposes.

Entries must be original works created solely by the entrant and must not breach copyright or other intellectual property rights. Mai-Wel takes no responsibility for late, lost, or corrupted entries.

Artworks must be suitable for use as a mural and free from offensive, defamatory, or inappropriate content. Successful artists will be required to provide a high-resolution PNG or JPG file of their artwork for mural development and prints. Every artwork submitted may be used by Mai-Wel as we see fit, which may include decorating common spaces.

The competition is open to Mai-Wel participants aged 18–25 years. Each artist may submit one (1) artwork only.

Entries must be submitted by 31 August 2025, 11:59pm via email to comms@maiwel.com.au including the entrants full name, contact details, the artwork as a PNG or JPG file, a short bio about the entrant, and the inspiration behind the artwork.

Acceptance of entries is at Mai-Wel’s discretion. Winners will be chosen by a panel of judges, and all decisions are final. Mai-Wel reserves the right to reject any artwork that does not meet these Terms & Conditions or is otherwise deemed unsuitable.

Winners will be contacted by the contact details provided in their submission and announced on Mai-Wel’s website and relevant social media platforms.

Entrants agree to these terms and conditions upon submission of their artworks as per the submission process stated above.
