Throughout her time with MWLFS, Lesley has been assisted by her Case Manager Trish to work towards her goals. When asked if she felt supported and assisted by Trish, Lesley said:
“Yes, yes and yes! Emotionally, physically and mentally. Everything she could have possibly done, she has done to make this possible. Trish has been able to provide support and get me through, rain, hail or shine and right through COVID-19. We have always had a good rapport; we can be honest and open which has given me the best possible chance at getting where I am today.”
Lesley has since been offered casual employment as Leisure and Lifestyle Officer at RFBI Residential Aged Care and she couldn’t be happier with the outcome.
“I love what I do; I love working with the aged and I love giving back to them. The job is close to home and it’s what I’ve been working towards.”
Over the past 18 months with MWLFS, Lesley has been able to feel independent, gain a sense of stability and now with her newfound position she is excited to see the financial results of her hard work.
