Donating to Mai-Wel supports people with disability to live the life they choose.
Mai-Wel is one of the biggest disability service and employment service providers in The Hunter. We are also a registered charity meaning donations of over $2 come with the benefits of a tax deduction for our donors.
We are incredibly fortunate to have the support of an amazing community of people, businesses, clubs and organisations who assist us so genorously through one-off and ongoing sponsorships, grants, and donations of time and funds. It is only through this support that we are able to deliver our unique and value-adding projects, resources and facilities for our participants and job seekers that we are known to offer.
The essential postponement of our major fundraising events in 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, has severely impacted the funds we are able to raise in our usual ways. Our annual events, particularly Mai-Wel’s Annual Gala Ball, not only provide an opportunity to raise awareness but can raise upwards of $35,000 annually for our projects. In 2019, our major fundraising events and initiatives raised an incredible $30,346 for our Sensational Spaces project.
We welcome all levels and amounts of donation; whether a once off gift, a monthly donation or the establishment of a corporate sponsorship.
