The last few weeks have been nothing short of a whirlwind. It seems as though the moment we feel we understand our current situation, we are faced with yet another change, a new set of guidelines and recommendations on how to move forward as an organisation. It is safe to say that COVID-19 has speedily turned our world on its side. It is fluid and ever-developing, however my message to you is that Mai-Wel are prepared and are working through the multiple challenges.
The Executive team and key personnel within the organisation have been, and will continue to meet every morning to discuss the COVID-19 Pandemic as new information arises. As it stands today, we continue to roll out precautionary measures across business units to keep our staff and participants safe.
I wish to make it very clear that we are wholeheartedly committed to providing services to our participants while we are still in a position to do so. Modifications to some activities have been made, as well as the delivery of some services. At this stage, it is business as usual within our organisation, as much as we possibly can.
Lastly, I want to say thank you to our staff for their continuing hard work and resilience during this time. While we are tested with the uncertainty of where this Pandemic will take us, I know we will get through this.
