Since Aaron has commenced his job search with Mai-Wel LabourForce Solutions in Cessnock, he has completed his Certificate IV in Property Services and obtained his Real Estate Agents Licence. In late 2019, Aaron participated in 3 months of work experience in a property management assistant role. Emma’s Step Up journey to build skills for work Emma has been participating in Mai-Wel’s Step Up program, attending sessions twice a week to help develop her employment skills and knowledge of the workplace. Emma is studying a Certificate II Work and Vocation Pathways through TAFE NSW, learning about time management, customer service, numeracy and literacy and interpersonal skills. Cassidy is learning all things hospitality through TAFE with support from Step Up Mai-Wel's Step Up participant, Cassidy has been keeping herself busy, studying a short course at TAFE NSW to enhance her customer service skills. Michael practices life skills with a plateful of pancakes! Back in July, Michael learned to make pancakes in the Thrive Kitchen/Café as part of Mai-Wel’s Step Up initiative. Michael enjoys cooking and wanted to learn new meals he can cook at home.
