Spring has sprung at The Hill, our purpose built facility for people with disability. We are fortunate to have a sensory garden where our participants can pick herbs, vegetables and now in spring, can make their own bouquet of flowers!
Surprised with an abundance of flowers, our team at the Hill researched how to make and prepare a bouquet. Jenna, Glenn and Haylen, participants of the Hill, set out in the garden to create the perfect take-home gift for their mums!
Jenna, Glenn and Haylen were able to pick their favourite blooms and learnt how to arrange them, wrap with tissue paper and put the finishing touches with twine and ribbon. Both Jenna and Glenn returned the next day to comment what a great activity it was.
We hope our budding florists have fun in the garden all spring.
